• About Us

AssemblyTube was created by teachers with 20+ years' experience of delivering school assemblies, to help teachers find relevant material for assemblies, primarily in the form of video. AssemblyTube is free to use because we want to encourage the sharing of ideas.

What is SafeShare?

SafeShare lets you view AssemblyTube videos without the surrounding distractions you normally get when viewing YouTube.
These distractions are not always helpful in an Assembly setting!

Using SafeShare

When you have found an AssemblyTube video you want to show, right click on it and from the dropdown menu, “Copy the Video URL”. On the SafeShare page, right click and “Paste” this Video URL into the box where it says “Paste a YouTube link”. Click the button “Generate Safe Link”.You will then get a link which takes you to a safe version of the video. Click on this link and a new window will open with your video ready to view. We have taken some still images so that you can see the difference that SafeShare makes.

Downloading Videos

Downloading Videos is NOT a function of SafeShare. If you do want to download videos to use them offline, we recommend AssemblyTube TubeSaver which is free and requires no software install on your computer.
