Dolphin Browser

dolphin2If you are a regular user of mobiles for surfing the web, you will know that playing videos on a phone can be hit or miss. We have found that this is due to problems with Flash plugins not always being available to the browser.

Whether the AssemblyTube videos will play on your Android phone or tablet will depend on the browser you use.

Try the FREE Dolphin Browser from the Google Play Store. Click on this link to go to the Play Store.

We have found that this plays AssemblyTube videos on our Android phones and tablets.
If you always want to have Dolphin browser access the web using your phone, you need to set it as your default web browser.

Default App Manager

defaultappmanagerTo set a particular browser as the default browser is not that straightforward, but here is a tip which is very useful. There is a free app at the Google Play Store called “Default App Manager”.

This app lets you decide which of the browsers on your Android device you want to act as the default.

The beauty of this is that you can easily and quickly change your mind and set a different browser as the default whenever you want to.

So if you try Dolphin and then want to switch back to Chrome as your default, you can do this in a few seconds.
Default App Manager can be used to change the default software for any application on your Android phone, so is useful in many ways.
