The School Rota Generator is a free, macro-free Excel workbook designed to make recurring school duties and responsibilities easier to organise. Choose your date range, mark holidays and no-event dates, enter the people or groups taking turns, and the workbook creates the rota for you.
Ideal for school assembly rotas, but also useful for many other purposes, including:
- playground and lunchtime duties
- tutor-group jobs and responsibilities
- library or equipment monitors
- pupil presentations
- classroom jobs
- staff or team responsibilities
Choose Daily, Weekly or Fortnightly rotas, enter up to 30 people or groups, exclude individual dates or whole weeks, and produce a clean printable rota.
The workbook is designed for modern versions of Microsoft Excel and contains no macros.
