Values Assembly - Friendship: What are friends for?
« on: March 10, 2014, 10:14:52 AM »

1. Opening Question: What are friends for? Take children's first thoughts then...

2. Watch:

3. What clues are there about the friendship between Watson and the little one. What do friends do? What qualities do they need?

4. Do children know any Bible stories featuring friendship? Suggest the story of David and Jonathan. You could tell it yourself or use

5. Prayer/thought: In your mind count off five friends - one for each finger on your right hand. Thank God for the friends you have and for the qualities you share.

6. So what? (final prompt for putting this value into action): "Be there for your friends"
