Maths or Magic - The Mobius Strip - Can You Explain This?
« on: May 25, 2016, 06:04:21 PM »
A loop with a single twist in it is called a mobius strip.  The "Mobius Strip" is an actual mathematical phenomenon.  You aren't really doing magic, you're doing maths!

Can you predict what will happen?

We can predict what will happen but sometimes we are wrong.
Sometimes our ideas about the world need to change when we see evidence.

Try the experiments yourself.
Maybe you can think of more experiments for yourself.
Try them out.

If any student or teacher can explain how the 3 experiments in the video were done we would love to know. Please reply to this post below with your theories or explanations.
