Senses - Try The McGurk Effect! - Horizon: Is Seeing Believing?
« on: September 22, 2014, 06:44:31 PM »
Can you trust your senses?
If you hear something, did you hear it correctly?

The McGurk effect is a compelling demonstration of how we all use visual speech information.
The effect shows that we can't help but integrate visual speech into what we 'hear'.

So what do you think?
When you are sure someone said something, can you really be 100% sure?
