Can We Have Free AssemblyTube Downloads?

We all like things for free.
So why can we not have AssemblyTube CLUB Downloads for free?

Standard Membership of AssemblyTube is free.
This gives you free access to 5000 Assembly ideas as soon as you log in.
Most of our downloads are NOT free, although there are a few free here.

To access all of our downloads you need to join AssemblyTube CLUB which involves a fee.



Why is it necessary to charge for downloads in this way. Why are the downloads not free?

The hosting cost of the AssemblyTube website is more than £1000 per annum.
This is the cost of the website being available on a server, and not my time used to maintain the website.

So charging for downloads either individually or by Assembly Club Membership, helps to offset this cost.
It does not fully cover the cost, so in reality I have personally subsidised the financial cost of running the AssemblyTube website for the last 10 years. Unlike the other main UK Assembly website, AssemblyTube is run by one teacher in their own time, and is not sponsored by a religious organisation.




I'd like to thank members who have bought downloads or paid for Club Membership, as by this action you have helped maintain the website for everyone.

I also hope the downloads have saved you some time.
