Still Images from the Media Section

Why not start your Assembly with an interesting still image.

In the "Media" section of AssemblyTube there are interesting images, in different folders. (You could try showing a different image each day. Make the students wonder what is coming tomorrow!)

How to make the image fill the screen

When you have found the image you want, right click on it.
Choose "Open image in a new tab"
A new tab will appear at the top of your screen with the image in it. Click on this tab to see the image.
Use CTR + (The Control key and the plus key). Each press will enlarge the image a bit more.

If you don't want a larger image there are options to begin a slide show if you want to automatically move through several images.
If you have found some interesting images, why not upload them to AssemblyTube for others to benefit from.
You can download the images if you want to keep a copy on your computer.
