You needn’t only use music at the start of a school assembly.
It can form an integral part of each session.
Children will listen and respond to a wide variety of musical genres & can articulate their emotional response to a piece, or explain how the music links to the assembly theme.
A good way to incorporate music into your Assembly is to select from the Model Music Curriculum. We have playlists here to make this really easy, and a calendar here which suggests when you might want to use this music in your Assembly.
