YouTube Downloader Update
Problems Downloading Video with your EasyPlay?
Google constantly change the settings on YouTube, and this affects the way software downloads YouTube videos. You may find that your EasyPlay is no longer downloading YouTube videos as normal. If this is the case with your EasyPlay you need to upgrade your EasyPlay with this free update.
Here’s What You Need to Do
Log in to the EasyPlay Website. If you do not have an account, register to create one, it’s free.
Download and Unzip
Download the zip file shown below, and unzip it onto the desktop of your computer. (Later versions of Windows can unzip these files, but if your version of Windows does not, you will need WinZip or WinRar software to unzip the file – free trial versions of WinZip or WinRar are available on the internet.) The unzipped file is called YouTubeDownloaderHD.exe and you need to copy this to your EasyPlay.
Copy and Paste
Right click on the file and choose “copy”.
Insert your EasyPlay into a USB slot on your computer.
Using the file manager of your computer, find your EasyPlay as an external drive. Then go to the “Resources” folder of your EasyPlay and open this folder.
Right click and choose “Paste”. You will be asked if you wish to overwrite the existing file. You do want to do this.
That’s it. Finished.
Your EasyPlay should now be back to normal and be able to download YouTube videos.
Important Change in How to Use the Downloader Software.
Go to YouiTube as normal to find the video you wish to download. However, instead of pasting in the “Share” link into the Video URL box, copy the full URL from the top of your browser into this box. Then click download.
